  • 1 or 3 Hole w/ Deck Plate

This is one of the more popular Kraus kitchen faucets. It features a premium commercial-style faucet made entirely of brass for long life and durability. The maximum deck thickness is 1.375 inches for installation. Installation is extremely easy, requiring only the faucet body to be secured and the waterlines securely attached. It is recommended that you remove the aerator after installation and run water for a few minutes to clear any debris in the lines.

  • Made in Germany

Axor (better known in the United States as Hansgrohe) produces this exceptional commercial style kitchen faucet out of an all brass body with a metal spray head. The pull down spray head is attached to an internal 35.5 inch hose that gives you plenty of reach and play to clean or deliver water where you want it. Danze D455158SS Parma Spring Pulldown Kitchen Faucet

  • Single hole mount kitchen faucet
  • Spout measures 22 3/4-inches high and 10-inches long
  • Spring-action wand

This Danze commercial style faucet is constructed of an all brass body and handles; however, the spray head is made of plastic. This faucet does not have an internal pull down spray hose. Instead, the hose is integrated into the faucet body, relying on the spring to give you additional reach and play. The faucet head docks with the body into a clamp that swivels out of the way when not in use.

This faucet installs into a single-hole mounting system. There is an optional escutcheon that you can purchase separately if you have a multiple-hole sink, however. This faucet has a maximum deck installation thickness of 2 inches and a total height of 22.813 inches. It extends underneath the deck by about two inches, but the 0.5 inch water supply lines are flexible enough to allow for smaller clearances and more storage. This Parma faucet does not have any quick connect fittings, but as with any kitchen faucet, installation is fairly easy for a moderately experienced DIY’er.

This faucet has a 2.2 gallon per minute flowrate which means that it is not in compliance with California’s water conservation laws. It is, however, still following the Federal EPA guidelines. The faucet single handle use is ADA compliant and it complies with the every state and Federal low lead regulation. Danze offers a limited lifetime warranty that covers operation and finish. As with other warranties of this type, the use of caustic or abrasive cleaners will void the warranty on the finish.

Blanco 441332 Spring Pulldown Kitchen Faucet

  • 2. 2 GPM flow rate
  • Solid brass body
  • Ceramic disc cartridge

This professional style pulldown faucet is from Blanco. The faucet is constructed of solid brass for longevity and resistance to erosion from hard water. The spray head is attached to an integrated hose that retains its arch thanks to the surrounding spring form. It has two spray options, both controlled from the spray head as well. When not docked, the docking arm swivels out of the way to allow unobstructed access to the area.

This faucet is designed for a single-hole installation system. There is no Blanco branded escutcheon deck plate, but you can get a generic version in the same finish if you have multiple holes in your sink already. The faucet rests at 21.5 inches tall with a minimal presence underneath the 2 inch maximum thickness installation deck. The included 18-5/8 inch 3/8 waterlines attach via standard nuts, but the lines are flexible to allow for multiple options in routing and installation.

This faucet is not ADA compliant, nor is it in code with California’s water conservation laws thanks to the 2.2 gpm flowrate. It is compliant with all state and Federal regulations for low lead, and is ASME A112.18.1 approved for having compliant plumbing fittings. Blanco offers a standard limited lifetime warranty that covers the finish and operation. It covers the original purchaser and homeowner and has the standard caveats regarding abrasive cleaners and installation in commercial sites.

AIMADI Spring Pulldown Kitchen Faucet

  • 360 Degree Swivle Sprayer
  • Unlisted gpm flowrate
  • Oil Rubbed Bronze finish

There’s a lot to love about this inexpensive commercial style kitchen faucet from Aimadi. The spray head is attached to a separate spray hose that allows a greater reach than those with integrated hoses. This kitchen faucet also has an LED light underneath a second spout that allows for water flow without activating the spray head. The LED is powered by water flow so there is no need for a separate AC source or batteries.

This faucet is designed to be installed in a single-hole mount and can be placed in most decks. The manufacturer doesn’t list the maximum deck thickness, however. There is not an included deck plate if you have more than a single installation hole, but you can get one that will fit. The maximum height of the faucet is 16.5 inches, perfect if you don’t have a lot of overhead clearance but have been looking for a high arch style kitchen faucet.

The flowrate on this faucet is unadvertised, so we can’t advise you on its compliance with any water conservation regulations. Likewise, we can’t give any advice on its compliance with low lead regulations or ADA compliance either. There is no warranty listed, but because the seller primarily operates from Amazon, this isn’t a bad thing. There are several reviews that speak of Aimadi’s quick response and fast handling of any issues that customers have had.

The single handle control moves 90° from straight up and down to forward which means that minimal backsplash clearance is needed. Additionally it pulls away from the faucet body 25° to control the water flow intensity. There is no escutcheon included with this faucet, but should you need one, you can always purchase one separately.

This faucet is built green by Vigo and fully compliant with California’s Title 20 regulations regarding water flow. It is also lead-free. Additionally Vigo offers a limited lifetime warranty. This not only covers the operation of the faucet but also includes a plated finish consistency guarantee. This means that if you own another Vigo Edison fixture in the same finish, you can be assured that they will match perfectly.

Premier 120333 Essen Single-Handle Commercial-Style Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet

  • Single-handle kitchen faucet
  • Industrial style for residential kitchen
  • Certified to NSF61-9

This commercial style kitchen faucet is made by Premier, a newer company when it comes to manufacturing bath and kitchen fixtures. The manufacturer is sparse on firm details when it comes to dimensions and the construction of the faucet. It does include an optional deck plate or escutcheon for installation, which helps if you’re planning to install this faucet into a three-hole installation system.

The manufacturer does note that this faucet is compliant with NSF/ANSI 61, which means that the fixture does not add lead or other contaminants to your water supply. The water flow is listed at 2.2 gallons per minute, which takes it out of compliance with California’s water conservation regulations. Premier does advertise a limited lifetime warranty, but there is no link to any text to read the fine print or regulations. These may deter you from giving this faucet a chance, but with the extremely low price point, it may be worth your while to give it a shot.

Commercial Kitchen Faucets Buying Guide

Best Commercial Kitchen FaucetsNow that you have read all of the commercial faucet reviews, you have a starting point when it comes to finding the best commercial style kitchen faucet for your home. Now, it’s time to delve into what some of the most important features to look out for when buying a kitchen faucet are.

12 Things to Consider When Buying a Commercial Kitchen Faucet

There are a lot of things to consider when looking at commercial kitchen faucets. There are a lot of different styles and a lot of different manufacturers out there, many of which offer trademark and patented options that each claim to be better than the next. Here we are going to show you how to get to the substance beneath the flash and glamour and find out what you should be looking for.

  • Spout Height

The spout height is basically what determines how much room you have between your kitchen counter or installation deck, and the bottom of the spout. This distance is not as vital in a commercial style kitchen faucet as it would be in another because you can move the spray head out of the way in most cases. However, you still want to pay attention to that measurement because it will give you an idea of how low spray head will hang.

Another great thing to look at when it comes to your spout height or spout clearance is what the length of the sprayer hose is. This will give you an idea of how easy it will be to get the sprayer down to the bottom of your sink or stretch it out to reach a pot or flower vase on the counter.

  • Spout Length

Best Commercial Kitchen FaucetsThis dimension refers to how far away from the faucet body your sprayer spout is. This will give you an idea of the range of your sprayer head. The greater this distance then the more room you’re going to have when it comes to bringing your sprayer away from the faucet body or even scratching it from side to side. Be careful that this Dimension does not become too great however. If it’s too long oh, then you run the risk of your water flow splashing too close to the front of your sink and potentially making a mess.

  • Water Pressure

Water pressure and flow rate are intertwined. In general your flow rate in your kitchen will be measured at the maximum water pressure of 60 PSI. That is generally the pressure that most municipalities will provide water to a home. If you need increased pressure, then narrowing the diameter of your water lines can often help. The physics is a little complicated, but essentially for pushing the same flow rate, the more narrow the water line, the greater the pressure. In real life, this means that if you have 1/2 inch water lines, consider changing to 3/8 inch water lines.

  • Sink Depth

Your kitchen sink depth should be a consideration because that will also determine how much splashing you’re going to get from your faucet. If you have a very deep sink then you’re going to want a kitchen faucet with a low spout clearance. You will want that low clearance so that the faucet head is closer to the counter level and even if you have a very deep sink than any splashing will be contained by the sink walls themselves. You should also consider it any dividers between your sinks as well. If you have a two basin sink, then make sure that your faucet has a swivel range so that the spout is not aimed directly at the divider.

  • Style

Going with a commercial faucet may seem like you are going to be stuck with industrial and modern styles. However, you can still get commercial style kitchen faucets that embrace classical or even transitional styles. Look for a commercial kitchen faucet that comes in an oil rubbed bronze, or one that has more ornate styling, for example. Just because you want the benefits and additional cleaning power of a pull-down sprayer does not mean that you have to sacrifice the aesthetic and look that you love.

  • Finish

Your commercial kitchen sink will be available in many different finishes. You aren’t stuck with just Chrome, stainless steel, and nickel. While those are going to be the most common finishes that you will see, you can still go with darker finishes such as oil rubbed bronze or brass. However, if you do choose a traditional finish, look for one that has been treated with a spot resistant coating.

Best Commercial Kitchen FaucetsBright finishes show fingerprints and water spots quite easily, so if you get a finish that has a resistant layer that makes cleaning easier or hide fingerprints better, then you won’t spend as much time polishing and wiping down your fixtures. An alternate finish is a brushed nickel. The brushed nickel textured surface will hide fingerprints and water spots very well.

  • Handles

By far, most commercial kitchen faucets have single handle style controllers. Depending on where you’re placing your faucet, you’re going to want to look for something different with your single handle. Some single handles do not move at all toward the rear of the faucet which means that you can install your kitchen faucet with minimal backsplash clearance. Others rotate a full 180 degrees from all the way back to all the way forward. Those type of handles are best suited for open sinks, such as those installed on kitchen islands.

Some single handle controllers are joystick controllers which allow for a very precise water flow and Temperature Control. Another thing to look at in your handle is whether or not it is ADA Compliant. ADA compliance in kitchen faucet handles simply means that not as much force is required to turn the handles on and off. This is a great benefit for people with arthritis, or other strength or range of motion disabilities.

  • Rotation

When speaking of rotation, we aren’t talking about the handles anymore, instead we are talking about the faucet body itself. Having a faucet body that rotates from side to side has two primary benefits.

The first is that you can now swing your spray head a greater distance as the faucet body swivels to match your movements. The second benefit is that if you need to, you can move the faucet out of the way so that you can use the entire sink without your faucet there. If you have a deep sink and you have a low spout clearance or spout height, then being able to move the spout out of the way is huge.

  • Wall Mount vs. Deck Mount

Best Commercial Kitchen FaucetsYou might not think that commercial kitchen faucets can be mounted on the wall, but they can. However there are some definite drawbacks to wall mounting as opposed to traditional deck mounting. Let’s look at some of those.

o Wall Mounted Faucets – These types a faucet have three primary differences from your traditional deck mounted faucet.

First, they are more expensive. That is because a wall-mounted faucet has to be installed before the wall is finished. The faucet and plumbing have to be there while the studs are exposed. This brings up the second difference.

Wall-mounted faucets require special bracing. In general, a wall-mounted faucet is positioned between two studs. However, if your kitchen sink is not perfectly between two studs, then adjustments will have to be made. That will increase the cost of your renovation.

The last difference in a wall-mounted faucet is the access. Once your wall-mounted faucet is installed, you generally cannot get to it if something goes wrong. Instead, you will need to ask your plumber to install an access door where are you can get to the wet wall.

  • Warranty

With the advances involved in ceramic disc valves, it is very rare for a sink to develop leaks or drips for many years. However, manufacturing defects do still happen. In that case, a warranty is nice to have. Most major kitchen faucet manufacturers offer a limited lifetime warranty to the original homeowner and purchaser. What this means to you, is that if you move into a home with a Moen faucet, and something goes wrong, the warranty does not apply to you because you did not purchase the faucet and you did not install it.

When looking at warranties for your new build or renovation, make sure you read the fine print. There are a lot of conditions, such as some manufacturers will cover shipping of parts, and others will not. So I’m manufacturer include the option to replace the entire faucet. However the warranty does not include installation, so if they want to replace the entire faucet, then you are still responsible for uninstalling the old one and installing the new one. In short, read the fine print and make sure you know what you’re getting into.

  • Water Line Connections and Hardware

This is a feature that goes beyond just knowing the difference between a 3/8 inch connector and a 1/2 inch connector. There are there are three main features that you might hear when looking at commercial kitchen faucets.

o Centers – This term refers to the distance between the holes on your sink. More specifically, it’s the distance from the center of the leftmost hole to the center of the rightmost hole. In a commercial style kitchen faucet, this is not as big of a concern, because they are for the most part single hole faucets. However, you still need to look out for the faucet hole diameter. Make sure that you know how wide the installation hole is on your sink. If the faucet that you like has a smaller connector then you will need an adapter to allow it to fit.

o Single Inlet – A single inlet is used primarily when you don’t need to adjust the water temperature of your faucet. The single inlet premixes hot and cold water to a temperature that you desire and have preset. This is a great feature for a secondary sink with one of the best touchless kitchen faucets or a sink dedicated to a hand-washing. To be honest, this isn’t something that a homeowner needs to worry about. But you will probably hear about it, so it’s nice to know what the term means.

o Flexible Connectors – It’s great to have options. A flexible connector essentially means that the hoses that connect from your inlet valves to your faucet are not rigid. This will give you more options when it comes to placement of the lines, allowing you to snake the lines along the back of your cabinet wall and then fasten them so that you get the maximum storage room underneath your sink that is possible. A flexible connector is also nice because that means if there is any sort of vibration or movement of your sink or faucet, you don’t have to worry about the waterline connections flexing and potentially leaking.

  • Eco-Friendly Faucet Options

Everyone should be concerned with water conservation and the environment. One of the key regulations that has come out in the past 10 years has been California’s new drought regulations which limits kitchen faucets to a 1.8 GPM flow rate and bathroom faucets to a 1.2 GPM flow rate.

Even if you don’t live in California, adopting one of these faucets for your next kitchen or bathroom is a great idea. With the advances in pressure and aerators, you don’t even notice that the flow rate has gone down. Not to mention, as a bonus for investing in environmentally friendly fixtures, you can often find great rebates and tax breaks for local, state and even Federal taxes.
